Business History

TERM-seal (Aust) Pty. Ltd. (TERM-seal®) is a corporate entity formed in March 2003. The directors are highly regarded and have proven track records spanning three decades or more in their chosen fields.

In 1997 the company began working on novel and ecologically sound systems for termite-proofing new and existing structures.

The aim of the pure and applied research was to devise a proprietary product range that would provide eco friendly, cost-effective, easy to install alternatives to existing methods of termite protection while reducing exposure of installers, home owners and the environment to pesticides.

In 2002, the company began realisation of the developed systems with the attributes they were seeking. A great deal of research and development, testing and regulatory compliance was required to turn this concept into the highly efficacious products that form the TERM-seal® systems. We are proud that our company and products are wholly Australian owned and manufactured - by us in our specialised factory in Brisbane.

Meet the team

	Phil Hannay - Managing Director Phil a qualified entomologist with forty years of experience in the built environment, primarily researches and develops termite proofing products and systems. He is passionate about the termite protection industry and brings strong management experience to the company.
	Kim Hannay - Financial Director Kim has been involved in the pest and building industries for many years.
	Barry Quon - Technical Manager Has been in the Pest Management Industry for over 30 years, primarily in the Pre-Construction Sector. Barry has been involved with TERM-seal products for 12 years before joining the company in 2014.
	Meghann Hannay - Production Manager Meghann comes to us after University studies and experience in the private sector. Meghann has a wealth of experience with all facets of production, acquisition and supply. Her fastidious nature blends well with the TERM-seal ethos of producing top quality products.
	Ian Mathewson - Field Biologist Queensland .
	Lisa Barnes - Acquisitions and Receivables Lisa, the silent achiever of the team, assists the financial director with acquisitions and meets the daily requirements of our vast installer network.
	Martin Kearney - Western Australia Representative Martin comes to Term-seal with over 30 years experience in the pest control industry. As a qualified, WA licensed technician pest manager, his experience includes 15 years in physical termite barrier installation and pre-construction methods, for new and existing building structures.
